Anatomy and Physiology

Course Description

Human Anatomy and Physiology explores the systems that make up the human body. We will take an in depth look at what makes body functions possible and how those factions are produced as well as imbalances that can lead to disease. An emphasis is placed on the inter-relatedness of such systems as the skeletal, muscular, nervous, and circulatory. This course is recommended for those pursuing a career in the health science field. This course has a substantial laboratory component, including a fetal pig and cat dissection.
