Cole 9th and 10th grade students recently completed a “TED Talk” /Cougar Chat challenge. This was the culmination of several weeks of research. The students completed the research process – including selecting their own topics, grouping with others to combine topics to create a guiding question, individually researching and evaluating sources, creating a claim and a works cited, and then rather than write a research “paper,” they created a TED Talk. Although on some of these only one student may be seen on camera, there were 2-3 behind the scenes. The winners as voted on by our students can be found HERE.
