Prom Court 2017 Announced

Please congratulate the following seniors for making Prom Court 2017! In alphabetical order, the King's Court is as follows: Pedro Ayala, Matthew David, Ian Hammock, Brandon Mercado, Travis Rainford. The Queen's Court in alphabetical order is as follows: Anja Burkman Flaig, Ashley Contreras, Lindsey Goodrich, Isabella Gordish, Samantha Lee. Congratulations to all these senior boys and girls! Voting for Prom 2017 King and Queen will take place during Prom this Saturday, April 22nd.

Student Showcase for Month of the Military Child

Please make plans to attend our Student Showcase on Thursday, April 20th from 4:30 to 6:30. Student projects, band, and choir and theater performances will fill the afternoon. MOTM T-Shirts on Sale!

The Month of the Military Child is celebrated in April to highlight the courage, sacrifice, and the patriotism of our young heroes. The Month of the Military Child was established by Caspar Weinberg in 1986 (Defense Secretary) to recognize our military children. Cougar PAWS will host many activities during the month of April for our children. More information will be coming soon. In the meantime, please order your purple Month of the Military Child shirt and help us celebrate our kids. Click the headline above for an order form. FSHISD Posts District of Innovation Plan

The District of Innovation concept, passed by Texas Legislature, gives traditional school districts more flexibility and local control and increases a district’s ability to decide what best meets the unique needs of the students and to customize a response to those needs.
