Principal's Message

Greetings,

Welcome to Robert G. Cole Middle and High School and the 2017-2018 school year. We are excited to have you and your children part of our school community. If you are new to the district, I hope you are successfully finding your way around. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Cole is a great place to be and we are happy and proud that you are a part of our ongoing traditions.

Teachers and staff have worked all summer getting ready for the first day of school. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we open on the first day. As happens every year, your child will be bringing a stack of paperwork home to sign.  Please take the time to read each page before signing and sending it back to school.

We have a large number of students moving in and registering at the last minute, so we may have to make small changes to the master schedule. If there are concerns with your child’s schedule we will work to get it straightened out as soon as possible.

As we continue to improve our campus, construction has become a way of life for us.  We are excited to have the new football stadium nearing completion. Our first game on the field will be September 1st. The concession stand and restrooms will not be complete but we will be using the Cole gym to provide those services.

As a staff, we continue to search for the most outstanding strategies and materials for our students.  Opportunities for your children are growing as we challenge ourselves to find the best answer to each of your individual child’s educational needs.

We have several new staff members on campus this year, and are excited to welcome them to our school and community.  I am very proud of the staff at Cole and truly appreciate their dedication to your children and their true professional attitude toward teaching.

Welcome to this wonderful school and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year.  I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know your children as our students.

Sincerely,

Isabell Clayton
