The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Membership in NHS is by invitation only. Invitations are given out in the Spring, usually in March or April. Any invitations that come through the postal service are not from our NHS organization. Invitations are based only on scholarship. Candidates must then apply and be accepted for membership by submitting a resume, writing an essay, and turning in 12 completed service hours.
