Welcome and thank you for visiting.  I retired from the Army in July 2013 with just over 25 years, commissioned and enlisted.  Serving in the Medical Service Corps as both a MEDEVAC pilot and Health Services Comptroller, I truly enjoyed my time in the Army and I am grateful for all the opportunities it afforded me and my family.  I’ve been married for over 28 years to my high school sweetheart and have two daughters.  One is graduate of Texas A&M and the other is a freshman at the University of North Texas.

A product of JROTC myself, I understand the impact that this program can have on young people and the important role I now play.  I could not be more pleased to be a JROTC instructor here at Cole High School. I've spoken to many JROTC instructors from other schools and the way I see it - Cole is the ideal environment for JROTC and a great place for kids to grow and learn.  If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at 368-8730 X7018, or email blachance@fshisd.net
