The Bexar County Commissioners Court awarded the Colonel Leroy V. Greene, Jr. Memorial Award to the Cole JROTC program. This award is presented annually to an individual or organization for outstanding Volunteer Services to the Bexar County Military and Veteran Community. County Commissioner Trish DeBerry presented the award to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Cami Castillo and Cadet Command Sergeant Major Franchesca Tinacba in ceremonies conducted on March 24th. In presenting award the commissioner noted the many contributions of the program with special emphasis on its support to the unaccompanied / homeless veteran burial program. Congrats to our JROTC program and all the cadets.
