All About Me

I was born in Ohio, however, I have lived in Texas most of my life. I attended Uvalde High School in Uvalde, Texas and graduated in 1988. During my junior high and high school years I played in the band, sang in choir, and was the drum major for the Uvalde High School Band.

I attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas from 1988-1993. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in All Level Music Education. While at Texas A&I University I was a Music Education Major. I participated in the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Mixed Choir, A&I Singers, Opera, Musical Theatre, Trumpet Ensemble, Tuba Euphonium Ensemble, Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Fraternity, and was a drum major for the Texas A&I Javelina Marching Band.

I also attended The University of Texas San Antonio from 1996-1998. I completed two years of graduate studies in Music Education.

I began my teaching career in 1994 at Hondo ISD in Hondo, Texas. I was the Choir Director, Music Appreciation Teacher, Music Memory Coach,  and an Assistant Band Director.   In 1999 I began teaching at Robert G. Cole. During my years at Cole I have been fortunate enough to teach Choir, Band, Jazz Band, Music Appreciation, Musical Theatre, and coach Music Memory.   I am proud to be a member of the Robert G. Cole teaching staff.
